Cheers for the reply, I just realised my mistake with the PXI version and
was just about to ask if you could get a PCI version!

Will I have access to all the cards features through C++ / NI-DAQ?

Thanks -

Tim.

"Dennis Knutson" <X> wrote in message
news:50650000000500000068440000-1001806086000@exchange.ni.com...
> A PXI card will only fir into a PXI or Compact PCI chassis. If you get
> a E Series PCI card, you can use the NI-DAQ api with C++.
</X>

Tim,

You will have full access to the card features using C++ NIDAQ calls. In the past, all calls to the cards were written in C++ and wrapped in a LabVIEW Sub VI. I believe this to still be true, so you should have at least the same access as the LabVIEW DAQ Calls give you, and likely more.

Good luck
