topic synchronizing two systems in LabVIEW

Hi,

I have two separate systems running separate VIs (Not on the same machine) and they both read and write to a shared variable. Is there any way to synchronize the two systems that use the shared variable?

Thanks

Perhaps you can give a little more detail in what you are trying to do. What are you trying to synchronize between the two systems? DAQ timing? The values of variables?

altran,

In addition to answering Raven Fans question I recommend looking to the following links relating to timing and shared variables.
How do you synchronize accesses to a LabVIEW Shared Variable?

shared variable synchronization
