And &lt;A href="http://www.wisdom.weizmann.ac.il/~yehuda/pubs/spectral.pdf"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; is  PDF file which explains spectral graphs which could also be helpful.  I tried walking through them (not much background in this) and it looks as though spectral graphs are computed differently.  This may not be much, but hopefully it can get you started. &lt;BR /&gt;</description>
