get install location

Hello,

My situtaion is that I have a labview project with an installer.

I have no executable(s) only vi's.

The vi's I build will be used in teststand.

In teststand I have created action templates, the templates location of the files must be adjusted so that if you install the files to "c:\program files\" the path must be "c:\program files\test.vi", this can ofcourse be any directory.

Question remains how can I do this?

Hello Inspector,

Have you considered deploying the VIs from TestStands' Deployment Utility?

Hi Eirikur,

Thank you for your reply.

I'm not familiar with teststands deployment utility.

I'm now using a batch file.

I don't know exactly where to copy the drivers in de instr.lib directory if you have more then one labview dev. installed or more runtime engines.

The VI's I make are not compiled to an executable but called directly by teststand 2014.
