Channel changing

I'm having an issue with Dasylab and NI_MAX. I have two task set-up in MAX. When I use these task in Dasylab it works correctly the first time, but when I run it the second time the channels shift 1 position. (Ex. Output 3 changes to output 2). It stays in the offset configuration. If I then go into MAX the first time I run MAX the channel is shifted 1 location. When I stop and start it it goes back to the correct location.

I do not not have a problem if I put all the channels in 1 task. Just curious if there is a problem using multiple task in Dasylab.

DasyLab 11

Windows XP sp3

MAX 5.0

Thanks

Dasylab 11.0.0

NI DAQ MX = 5.0.0f1

DAQmx Devices

-9174

- 9219 (2)

- 9213

I have temp task whick has 9 channels (0-9) on the 9213. I also have a voltage task that use 4 channels on the first 9219 and 2 channels on the second 9213 (ch 0 and Ch 2).

If i just run MAX it is not a problem. The proplem occurs after running dasylab. Below is the sequence that causes problems

1. Run task in MAX (Good)

2. Run in Dasylab (Good)

3. Stop and restart dasylab (Values shift)

4. Run task in MAX (Values are still shifted)

5. Stop and restart MAX (Good)

When exiting out of both DasyLab and MAX they both ask if I want to save changes, even though I have not changed any settings. I have had this problem on another setup as well.

Thanks for the help

2. Run in Dasylab (Good)

3. Stop and restart dasylab (Values shift) -> sounds that any API command from DASYLab for NI-DAQmx generate a reinit problem.
4. Run task in MAX (Values are still shifted)

@djmac,

I have used your configData1.zip MAX settings and your last DASYLab worksheet. I'm use DASYLab 12.0.x and get from DASYLab NI-DAQmx driver an error message if I load the DSB:

- task MyVoltageTask -> The synchronization load from MAX into DASYLab say me that the task have an internal sampling rate = 0.0. This based on an error from NI-DAQmx API outside from DASYLab. A workarround is only if you change the MAX task mode "continuous" into 1 value spoftware polled. Is this possible for you? Please check now the swapping situation for your application.

Best regards,
