    <description>&lt;P&gt;You can change this information in the registry, but I have no idea if it's&amp;nbsp;legal to do so like this and I don't know if you will be able to start LV afterwards (although I assume you will be able to, at least in pre-8 versions).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Open the registry editor (start&amp;gt;&amp;gt;run&amp;gt;&amp;gt;regedit) and navigate to HKey_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\LabVIEW\&lt;EM&gt;your version &lt;/EM&gt;and you will find the appropiate keys. Note that playing with the registry can be very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Do this at your own risk.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;This is a&amp;nbsp;rather insignificant question, and it really didn't seem to fall into the scope of the other boards. How would I go about changing the identifying information LabVIEW holds such as the user name and company name? If our company has changed names, where and how would I edit that information in&amp;nbsp;LabVIEW?&lt;/DIV&gt;
