Ok here is my question:

I'm using a 6229 Daq. When my Vi runs ( Read Dig Port Ext clk) I fill the buffer witih 64 bits.

The Problem: It's difficult to read the data back using the Read Vi, ( have to use the digital to binary Waveform vi then try to remove the timing properties).

I believe it would be easier after reading my external device which fills up the 6229 daq's buffer with 64bits to read that buffer using a textual language ( C/C++)

Then use labview CIN and send this data to a labview array.

However I do not have a memory map of the 6229 daq. I do know which register the data has been written two ( I know the port, I do not know the register associated

with that port. example PXI/slot2/port 0):smileysad:

Hi Ray,

Now and again I have a bash at trying to reach that 2000 mark. It does help that its been quite busy in the TestStand forum and I had a little dabble in the LabVIEW forum (just to blow out the cobwebs).

Trouble is there's a lot more blue guys these days and I'm in the wrong time zone

Ray.

Yes.. I noticed as well.

And you may have seen me in the CVI / TS forums as well...

or at least notice the shinny constellations 😉

OK... I'll admit... we both seem to be racing up that hill... ANd I'm running out of breath.. Got more work on my way... so less time in the forum.. I even have to sneak in the evenings!

Aiye Caramba!
