Complete Brainfart!!

I just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why my double data was being rounded to whole numbers in format string. While I wont post the actual code, here is a sample of my issue...What a brainfart....

I hope im not the only one thats done this before..but I may be. "d" stands for double right...

Right, decimal data does not have a decimal.

I like how its called decimal but it doesn't contain them.

decimal means 10 digits, right? 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

octal means 8 digits: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

binary means 2 digits 0 1

hexadecimal means 16 digits: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F

There are no periods in decimals. 😉 Which is what caused the problem way above 🙂

I'd still like to see a sexegessimal disply option outside of hh:mm:ss.s Oh what to do when the vi's roll the minutes into hours vice degrees?
