We all come across a number of messages like this in the forum

" can anybody convert this VI to __ version of labVIEW?"

" i am using labVIEW __, so this VI is not compatible with my version. please convert this VI for me"

and so on

Is it not possible for NI to start a service where users can get there VIs converted to desired versions?

We just need to promote this thread. So that people can come to know where there VIs can get converted to there desired Versions

I can't say I see the point really (are you going to post a reply to a thread where someone wants a VI in an older version telling them to go to another thread? You might as well just post the backsaved code to that thread), but if you are going to do this, I ask that you create that thread in the LabVIEW board. It's going to create too much noise in the BP.

I agree. This is certainly not the place to do conversions and redirecting to a different thread just seems silly. If you can't do the conversion, leave the question alone.

Perhaps a seperate message board could be created? "Forums>Software>VI Rev conversion" It would sure help keep the "conversion" posts grouped so that when one of us altruistic members has some free time we could effeciently convert a group of posts.
