Hi, just downloaded and installed using all the defaults. When I went to open the two example VIs they could not find the DTB VIs. I had to manually point them to the correct path. They leave out the \LabVIEW 8.2\ portion of the path.

Here's the warning:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\examples\DTB\IO_Node_example.vi
- The VI expected to be at "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\user.lib\DTB\DTB Abort Timebase.vi" was loaded from "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\user.lib\DTB\DTB Abort Timebase.vi".

By the way, the Components are very timely for our current realtime project. I was just talking last week with another senior guy about our need to code up a timing & sync library and then I found the DTB when I got home Friday night. Keep up the good work!

There was a minor problem with the installer that has been fixed in the 1.0.5 distribution.

We're using DTB to synchronise a couple of systems, PC and CompactRIO. I just noticed a problem on the PC.

When I build my VI into a .exe file DTB won't work. The program runs but I get a time back in 1904. Running the same VI from within LabView works fine.

Any idea what the problem is, is this a known problem or?

I found a solution to my problem, indicating
it probably is not a problem with DTB, but rather with Labview.

While debugging I found that if I set the source file settings for Timebase and Time reference in the build properties to NOT remove the front panel, then it works. But with the default settings
it dont - and no warning.
