      <title>Use EPS in conjunction with Basic Measurement</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello NI Community,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Is it possible, using one NI 9225 and one NI 9227, to use the fpga resampling VI in order to capture waveform data for syncrophasor analysis, while simultaneously acquiring the raw 50 kS/s (or 25 kS/s, 16.667 kS/s ...1.613 kS/s, etc) from the same modules for use with basic measurment VIs?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We are interested in using the electrical power suite for some power quality analysis metrics in our design, which is based on the cRIO9068. In addition to the power quality measurements, we'd like to do some additional processing such as voltage limits, current limits, etc. at a rate much&amp;nbsp;faster than the 12-cycle capture period of the fpga resampling VI used in the Electrical Power Suite.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is this as simple as opening up another FPGA IO Node for each device and setting the arbitration options correctly? Any reccommendations on best practice with this kind of setup?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;It's possible what you want to do.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://forums.ni.com/t5/Example-Code/Reference-Application-for-NI-CompactRIO-Waveform-Acquisition/ta-p/4111933" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;cRIO waveform acquisition&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;is what you'll need in addition to EPS.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You'll need to modify the synchrophasor FPGA VI so that it has an interface in RT VI to acquire the 9225 9227 data from the FIFO.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You'll need to add cRIO waveform VI in RT VI to calculate/capture the waveform.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You should&amp;nbsp;set the &lt;STRONG&gt;interval length [s]&lt;/STRONG&gt; in Energy.vi as the duration of the sine waves you used to calculate the power values in Power.vi.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can refer to the example under the following folder for power and energy measurement using EPS VIs:&lt;/P&gt;
