Cannot make a cluster into a type definition?

If I create a cluster and right click on it, the option, "Change to Type Definition" is grayed out. Any ideas why?

Right Click .gcomp file NEW>>TypeDefinition. it creates a new gtype file, and place your cluster there & save it.

Use this as a workaround.

Excellent. Thank you! It appears that this works.

G web still needs some type def work in general:

- Front panel type def objects are not currently supported

- Cannot right click on clusters and convert to type def
