Dear Colleagues,
I wanted to share with you info about quite interesting training that will happen soon:
https://www.edx.org/course/uc-berkeleyx/uc-berkeleyx-eecs149-1x-cyber-physical-1629
UC Berkeley and NI have been collaborating on the EECS 149, Introduction to Embedded Systems, for the last several years leveraging NI's platform extensively and as one of the results they have just launched an EdX's Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Cyber-Physical Systems (starts on 6th May). This is an interactive course where LabVIEW Student Edition and applicable toolkits/modules will be donated and students have the option to purchase discounted hardware (myRIO) - maybe some of your colleagues would be interrested. NI's value proposition to engineering education is a tightly integrated hardware-software platform, in this case, it will be the LabVIEW RIO Architecture.
The Cyber-Physical Systems MOOC introduces the modeling, design, and analysis of cyber-physical systems and leverages multiple models of computations including the use of LabVIEW Statechart, Robotics Simulator, MathScript, Real-time, and FPGA modules. At the same time, the physical processes of the course leverages myRIO and iRobot Create as the computational systems.
Hope you will like it!
