ELVIS II FGEN problem

Hi I have a problem with NI ELVIS II.when I generate a signal by the elvis function generator and use the elvis oscilloscope everything is fine but when I connect from function gereator to Banana jack pins or BNC pins the amplitude of my gereated signal reduces.say the generated signal amplitude is 5V but as soon as I connect the FGEN pin to the banana jacks or BNC jacks it reduces to 1V or even less than 1V.

I want to make a circuit on another board and just use the elvis function gerator and oscilloscope and because of this I use banana and bnc jacks but as I said I dont know why the amplitude vary .

I Have taken a screenshot to show the problem

The amplitude of function generator is 10V p-p .then I wired from fgen to banana 1 and then fram banana 1 to oscilloscope.now the amplitude is 1.4 V p-p

I dont know why connecting fgen to bnc or banana jacks change the value of the amplitue.I would like to make a circuit on another board but use elvis FGEN and Oscilloscope but I have this problem.

Hi en99,

Do you think it would be possible for you to take a picture of your setup? Then we can see exactly how you have everything connected.

Kind regards,

HI the problem is I thinlk solved

The difference was because of the internal impedance of ELVIS function generator. The internal impedance is about 50 ohms
