I hope I am putting this in the right place! I have a USB-6351 DAQ card (https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/usb-6351.html) and I would like to be able to use it in conjunction with the ELVISmx DMM software. The software does not recognize it as a supported device. Is there something I can do to fix this, or do I need different hardware to interface with the DMM software?

Hi kbriggs,
I am not sure what you mean by ELVISmx DMM software. What is the exact name of the driver/software you are using? The NI-ELVISmx driver/software does support the ELVIS II, ELVIS II+ and myDAQ, which have DMMs built in, but I want to make sure we are on the same page regarding the exact driver you are using.
From my understanding of what you are saying, you will need to get different hardware to use the NI-ELVISmx driver/software. The three devices I listed above (ELVIS II, ELVIS II+ and myDAQ) are the only supported devices with the NI-ELVISmx driver/software.
In order to use your USB-6351 DAQ card, you would need to get the NI-DAQmx driver. However, this device is not a DMM.
I hope this helps.
