I'm trying to use a myDAQ, but I can't get Windows to install it. When I plug it in, Windows complains "No driver found" and the myDAQ doesn't show up in MAX. I also ran the myDAQ troubleshooting program which passed device driver installed, but failed device recognized in MAX. Any ideas?
System Info:
Acer Aspire 7741 with Win7 Home Premium
LabVIEW 8.6 (First Robotics)
DAQmx 9.1.5f1
ELVISmx 4.2.72.0

Hi Gleichman,
Are you able to use myDAQ on another PC or does the problem follow the myDAQ? Have you been able to previously use it on your current PC (or any PC for that matter)? Are you able to see the myDAQ in Windows Device Manger? If you do see it in Device Manager, the device itself is probably fine, but I would suggest trying to update your drivers for the device.
Thanks Gleichman,

I've now had the chance to try it on my work laptop (Win XP 32b, NI-DAQmx 9.1.7, LV2009SP1) and it worked without a hitch. So, now I need to find out if my problem is Win 7 64b, NI-DAQmx 9.1.5, or the FRC version of LV 8.6.

Yes, it shows up in Device Manager, but as an unknown device.

Hello,
NI myDAQ shipped with DAQmx 9.1.6. You will need to upgrade to a newer version of the DAQmx driver to detect your device. I recommend installing the latest version of ELVISmx (4.2.3) which includes DAQmx 9.1.7.

Hope this helps,
