Hello,
I was using myrio trying to log some data on a USB flash drive accessing the drive u/. By accident, the program instead of writing to the u/ usb drive it created a folder u in the internal myrio storage and it created some folders and files in that location. After i corrected the error the usb drive is now recognized as v/ instead of u/. I tried to delete the u folder and its contents but the deletion was not succesful. I have tried through the webinterface and also through the mapping of a network drive. I also added a password as an admin through the web interface but no attempt was succesful. Any suggestions how to delete these folders / files?
Thank you,
Christos

Have you tried right-clicking the device in MAX and using file transfer?
If none of these options work, you will likely spend less time troubleshooting by reformatting the myRIO and deploying your application again.

Dear Jeff,
Thanks for your response. I have not tried yet the file transfer from MAX. I will be back to the office in 5 days
and i will give it a shot. Meanwhile, today i faced another problem with myRIO. Using the webinterface i was setting the date and time of the target to the current one. The change was applied and the target was returning the correct time. However, after restarting of the target the time was lost and it was going back to September 23, 16:45. I was wondering if this is a software problem or a battery problem. Is there a coin battery in myRIO?
Thank you,
Christos

This KB discusses the date/time: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/9DCFB7C0EB06CA9786257440006182E2
The relevant line is: Note that not all cRIOs and the myRIOs do not have a battery backup, so a loss in power will reset the clock.
