error when using 2 instruments together in ELVIS.

why do I get an error when I use the DMM and the oscilloscope together with the NI-ELVIS?
and is there a way to repair that? (can I use 2 measuring instruments together?)

What error are you getting? What kind of DMM and oscilloscope are you using? How do you have them configured? What version of LabVIEW are you using? Please give me as much information as possible.

I am using LabVIEW 7.0 and I'm getting the error -9330 from the resource manager.vi
and I'm using the SFP DMM and OSC that came with the elvis.

Hi AgwaNoa3,

Thanks for that additional information. The reason that you are getting that error is because the DMM and the oscilloscope are trying to use the same resources (on the DAQ board) at the same time. You will have to run them separately. However, if you are just taking a voltage measurement with the DMM then the oscilloscope can do that.
