how to make a program and connection to move DC motor from my emg signal data. Here, from my emg data, i get value of amplitude to used to move the dc motor. can anybody help me...I WILL ATTACH THE MOTOR CIRCUIT USING NI-ELVIS. HOW TO ATTACH IT AT THE CORRECT PIN? THX

Hi Sabaukusauso,

 

If you are using the ELVIS, you can use the programmable power supply to drive your DC motor.

 

Depending on the range of your emg data, you might need to scale the voltage output to the DC motor accordingly.

hye Boon Chen.. thank for the decision...by the way, how to make the programmable power supply to drive my DC motor. now i just get move the DC motor only by attach the wire at +5v and ground. how to i make a program and connection so i can relate my emg data to move the motor.

Hi sabaukusauso,

 

You can connect your motor to PS+ and use the NI-ELVIS soft front panel or the example program to control how many volts you want to output to your motor.

 

Once that works, you can then modify the NI ELVIS Basic PS.vi example program to relate the output voltage to your emg data.

 

If you are totally new to LabVIEW, refer to our online tutorials and go through the basics.
