I believe the tables will be marked, and attendance is open. Though we only have 10 chairs at each table.

How do we "sign up" to attend the roundtables, or how do we find out when and where in the building they'll be?

The lunchtime roundtables are held in the conference lunch area during the meal. They are pretty informal; we put an expert at the table with a sign for the topic, and you show up. There are no slides; it is all Q&A. I'll have a couple of concept demos that I will be showing off if we run out of questions. There is no sign-up. Just pull up a chair and say what's on your mind. The AF round tables are at noon on Thursday.

I don't think there is a sign up for tables. As I recall it is 'first come - first served'. There is an announcement of sorts - perhaps on a board, maybe over the PA system, I don't recall. But last year the tables were numbered.
There is a hands-on AF session on Wednesday, but most of us are probably beyond that. Not that we can't learn something, just that others could probably benefit more.
If you follow LAVAG, you will see that a number of us meet at The Gingerbread Man on Sunday night, and if you buy a ticket, the LAVAG BBQ on Tuesday. At some point we need to just have fun too, but I am always willing to share ideas.

You mean talking LV isn't fun for you?

I was hoping for a priority queue but it seems this class is public and anyone can obtain access. Any chance you could send me a message if I give you my refnum? I would like to avoid force destroying anyone at NI Week if the queue of 10 elements is full.

Tracy Hickman is one of the original authors for books for Dungeons & Dragons role playing game. Most years at GenCon, the world's largest D&D gaming convention, he hosts a breakfast where he is the dungeon master and you come forward with your character sheet and he promises to kill each character in a new and unique way as everyone in line moves through the dungeon. Deaths occur every 15 seconds or so, no matter how clever you are about dodging, spell casting, prepping or attacking. The only way to survive? Keep the dungeon master entertained. http://www.dragonhearthproductions.com/killerbreakfast.html
Allen and I may have to implement something similar.

Attendee destructors are private, so don't worry about force destruction. On a more serious note, I'm not sure what you are requesting from me.
I also don't think there will be too much problem chiming in from an adjoining table. And, as I said, there are two tables...

No requests, just some cheesy programming jokes...
See you at NI Week, I am looking forward to some great discussions on this framework!!!
