8476 LIN no communication observed in bus monitor

 i am using NI USB 8476 LIN interface. Everytime i try to send a LIN frame from my vi 8476's LIN lead flashes for moment. But there is no 

lin message in bus monitor on  ni MAX what could be the issue?

Have you tried setting the Run Mode in the Bus Monitor to Subordinate?
