Accessing CAN in VB.net

Hi

I would love to get some hints on how to get started on programming for my NI USB-8473s (in VB.net). I need to read messurements and trigger some nodes on the bus. Is there a guide/example/dll that is good to get started with?

Hello rewrath,

Unfortunately, VB.net is currently not supported by NI-CAN.  You can see the supported languages in the readme file of the NI-CAN driver.  

This may be useless to you, but VB6 is supported and you can find the examples here: Program Files\National Instruments\NI-CAN\MS Visual Basic.

.. Can Measurement studio be used for this? Does it support the usb-can device?

Sorry for the late reply.  NI-CAN will not be supported on VB .NET or Measurement Studio for now.
