CAN Baud rate settings

We are using PCI 8512 NI card/chassis which has by default setting of 125K baud rate. We need 250Kbaud rate which we have to change manually everytime when the system is restarted. Is there any procedure to set the by default baud rate of the card/chassis to 250K baud.

Please note NI-Xnet CAN card connected is set to baud rate 250K.

PCI-8512 is a NI-XNET device. Are you using an old program written in NI-CAN driver and trying to control the PCI-8512 via NI-XNET Compatibility Library for NI-CAN?

I would recommend you use only NI-XNET. The baud rate is specified by the database you load. See Migrating NI-CAN Applications to NI-XNET
