At a one of our customers, where we have several test systems installed, the PCI-CAN cards “disappear” from the NI-MAX at random time on several different test systems. The PCs are HP desktops, running Windows XP Pro SP2. The PC also has a PCI-6023 installed, but the drivers for that card are OK. The CAN card can still be found in the Windows Device manager, but are gone from NI-MAX. After reinstalling the CAN drivers, the CAN cards can work fine for several days or weeks.
Does anyone know a solution for this problem?
