CAN protocol BUS OFF recovery

Hi all,

Recently I have gone through one of the website "if we send 11 consecutive recessive bits 128 times to the node will recover from buss off". My query is, if the node is in busoff how it will receive the message and validate?

Could any one explain how is this possible? Also is there any other mechanisms to recover from bus off using CANOE?

You need to take the device out of bus off (if you have XNET, just call "start" again on the interface). This will take it temporarily out of bus off, but not actually ON until the 128 recessive bits.
