Can nodes

Hello,
I want to create an application with a lot of real and virtual nodes.I want to know if there is a method of create virtual nodes using NI cards. i have seen CANOE from Vector and there is very easy to add nodes but i don´t know how to do it with NI software...

Hi,

What exactly do you mean by a virtual node? Using the NI CAN interfaces you can frames with any arbitration ID. Since in the CAN bus it doen't really matter where the frame is coming from, you could use the CAN interface to simulate what would be several physical nodes on the real network you are simulating. I guess you could think of these as virtual nodes.
