So I don't use it often but I had someone ask about XCP capabilities so I went to go get an evaluation of the ECU Measurement and Calibration toolkit, but to my surprise all I could find was version 15. I downloaded it and in the installer it asked what versions of LabVIEW to add support to but it only detected my LabVIEW 2015 and not 2016 or 2017. Is there an update planned to support the newer versions of LabVIEW? Can I just copy the installed files from vi.lib and examples into 2017 and have it work? Thanks.

That was how we did it for the earlier ECU M&C Toolkits. Not sure if this has synced up to an annual release now.

Hi Hooovahh,
Yes you can move the files to add support to LabVIEW 2016 or 2017. The correct process is documented here:

An updated version of ECU Measurement & Calibration Toolkit will be available around NIWeek 2018. It will be add CAN FD support among other features, as well as support for all current LabVIEW versions.
