Error writing and reading CanBus data in the HDF5 File Format

Having issues writing raw can bus data frames to disk using the hdf5 file format. A can frame is cluster with several different data types.  The payload can be variable length. In my test vi, i can successfully write and read an array of empty can frame but when I fill the payload array with numbers it fails with Error 402760. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
