Hi All,

I just wanted to give an update. I was able to get Labview 2017 Professional approved and am up and running. I also got the USB-8502 and I have to say it is amazingly easy to write VI's and interface with CAN bus on our device.

Hi Ryan,

Good day. I am a new user of USB-8502. And I am not familiar with CAN protocol communication.

Could you share your program to me or put the screenshot on the message board.

I am very appreciated to your help.

Thanks.

Kai

If you aren't familiar with the CAN protocol I suggest reading up on documentation to get a better understanding of what CAN does and how it works.  My 10 part blog series is a good place to start but I'm a bit biased.  Beyond that install LabVIEW and the NI-CAN and/or NI-XNet drivers depending on your hardware, and then look at the Help >> Find Examples to see various examples.
