How to read string data from a device using CAN Frame APIs

How to read string data from a device using CAN Frame APIs ?. I am using LabVIEW 8.2.

I want to read a string of 11 characters from a device.

Send the ASCII codes of the characters with the device and convert them back to the corresponding characters in the LabVIEW application. See attached example.
