Monitor CAN data from DSP board through Bus monitor utility

"HI,

I am new to using CAN. I am trying to interface the national instruments
AT-CAN (Low-speed CAN) to the texas instruments TMS320LF2407 CAN module.

I just want to make sure that whatever data coming from DSP board is receiving.
I am currently simply trying to monitor the data sending from the DSP board, I am not sending any data to DSP board.How can i possibly monitor the data sending from the DSP board.
Can i use CAN Bus monitor utility provided by NI ?? Apart from Bus Monitor Unitilty what other
example programs can i use and monitor the data.
and should i need to include that termination resistor on the AT CAN card or it is internally shorted in the card.

You can definitley use the bus monitor. There are also many example programs that ship with the driver. There is simple example in C here and if you have LabVIEW installed you can go to Help>>Search Examples to open CAN Read.vi. Both programs just do basic reading.
There are termination resistors already presocketed on the board. The Appendices of the CAN User manual give more detail on what are acceptable resistor values based on the number of devices and their termination resistors.
