Upgrade to 2.2 Nican software

When we replace our first NICAN card from Series 1 to Series 2 we had a lot of problems with the application as they stop working properly. "National" told us that the new series were not compatible with the older and that we had to recompile the application with new includes. Obviously we followed all the given suggestions but the application didn't work at all. I wasted a lot of time debbuging and consulting this forum in order to find some clues to discover the nature of the problem... everything was hopeless.

Casually I found the new drivers upgrade (Ver. 2.2) in the download area of the Ni.com site. I replaced the older ones and Miracle.....the application, the original version, without the recompiling, started working correctly !!!.

My question is: Why the "National" doesn't declare in this Forum that their original drivers (2.1.3 on CD) are faulty? Wouldn't be better and simpler to indicate from the beginning to download ver 2.2 upgrade and admit the 2.1.3 version has bugs?

No thanks this time to "National".
