What about an ODBII error and command list?

Thanks for the ODBII search recommendation.  I was wondering if any other members were working in the area of dealing with ODBII interfacing?  I want to be able to read and clear fault codes using a VI.

Hummer1,

I would highly recommend looking into using the NI Automotive Diagnostic Command Set. This gives you an easy interface to communicate using the KWP2000 (ISO 14230) and Diagnostics on CAN (ISO 15765) protocols.

We also offer a CAN OBD-II Cable for easy connectivity.

For more information about On-Board Diagnostics, check out the wikipedia article, it's a good one.
