Will ADCS support J1979-2 (OBDonUDS)

Hello NI team

I would like to ask one question regard J1979-2 support.

Do you have any plan to support 1979-2 (OBDonUDS) in ADCS?

It seems we can implement J1979-2 protocol using current UDS function set.

but I would like to ping whether ADCS will support J1979-2 as like current J1979 support in ADCS. (SID based subVIs )

Or will new protocol support will be on Vehicle Communication Toolkit?

I too wait patiently for NI's response.  But in the mean time you might be interested in knowing that there is an open source G implementation of the ISO15765 which covers UDS, and KWP2000.  I've posted the state machine and code here on my blog.  My point with this, is that because it is open source you can modify it as needed.  I haven't posted an update to that in a while, but an internal implementation of that did allow for writing SIDs by using the Perform Diagnostic Service Request VI as its core.
