best way of using ni-can instrument

hi guys i m just going to start labview for my can bus project , i have to use ni-can module provided by univ, so i have to start from basics , i have not any sort of idea how to overcome this please tell quick and working way to do alll this . I have done some basic start up project in labview so please tell some steps

which leads towards complete understanding of ni-can module and its working.

A great place to start, as with most products, is the manual!  The NI CAN manual is especially good and worth reading.  Don't be intimidated by the length; most of that is function references. The important information is in the beginning.

As long as your microchip has CAN ports, you will be able to interface with your NI-CAN device.

yes it has can embedded controller and transceiver for can bus, thanx for start up information.
