has anyone had trouble with programs that worked with nican 1.6 but not with 2.0? Did you find a fix?

I have not heard of this problem. What sort of error have you run into? What error message does it give you? Is there a particular function that does not work? Please provide more detail so we can get to the bottom of the problem.

I work for Parker Hannifin. Our simulation software accesses the CAN bus via the NI drivers. I know the user interface to configure and test NICAN is different from version 1.6 to 2.0. I don't know if there are any other changes that hurt our interface. I do want to let you know our software is maintained at another facility, so they will eventually work this out. I was hoping there was something I could try immediately for a fix.

Hi,

The NI-CAN 2.0 driver should be reverse compatible with 1.6. You should be able to take your old program and get it to work without problems in the 2.0 version. Let me know if this is not the case as there may be an issue with the new driver.
