hi,
i am new in using canoe. i am trying to configure serial (usb to serial )port while using canoe , what i have done so far is that port has been succesfully installed in device manager of windows and i have change that com port to COM1. i also made a network containg two nodes in CANoe. there is alot of matrial about CAN or LIN etc online or in help, but what about serial port ?
now my question is ,
1: is it ncessory to have some hardware attached to that usb to serial connector for example can stress or any IUT or i can test the functionality of serial port without this?
2: if i want to check wither data is actually being send on that port (funtionality), how would i do that? which functions or parameter do i need while writing in capl programing.
3: does it detect automatically detect COM port or i have to mention some where ?
i would really appreciate that if some one could clear my doubts..
