Need help discovering a device

I just recently purchased a NI GPIB-USB-HS to get screen shots from an HP E4408 ESA-L Series spectrum Analyzer. (old school)..

Have the GPIB device plugged into the analyzer however the NI device cannot discover it.

I'm sure its an operator issue...?

Any suggestions that someone has to assist?

You should just need the NI 488.2 driver (maybe NI-VISA as well?) Do you have those drivers installed?

Once the drivers are installed and you can see the GPIB device in Max, use the test panels to query the analyzer with *IDN?.  A string with basic information about the instrument should return.
