The Big Physics Symposium, a satellite meeting held in conjunction with NIWeek, brings together over 80 scientists and engineers from major labs around the world such as CERN, INFN, ORNL, and ITER. Attend this all-day event to share ideas and results and to learn from the presentations of your peers from different labs worldwide.


TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS:

The symposium will feature presentations from the following topics:

  • Diagnostic systems based on COTS technologies
  • Use of FPGAs and Real-Time systems for measurement and control
  • High reliability and availability systems for control and interlock needs
  • Embedded and real-time software and middleware
  • High performance computing using multicore processors and GPUs


CALL FOR ABSTRACTS:

You are invited to submit your abstract before April 30th. All abstracts will be for an oral presentation of 30 minutes (25 minutes presentation plus 5 minutes of q &a). The abstracts should not exceed 100 words.
