Grab a drink and stop by the ni.com face-to-face booth in the Connect Lounge Tuesday evening between 5:30-6:30 pm to meet Vu, Laura, and Claire as well as other online Community users.  We will host an open discussion to solicit your feedback about the NI Community as well as chat about best practices.  Topics include the Idea Exchange, online coding competitions, discussion forums, example code sharing, virtual groups, blogs, and much more.

I sent a copy of the Justification Letter to my boss but I am not sure he will let me travel down there from Portland Oregon. He did let me go to Austin last September for a couple of classes so it is not out of the question.

The weather was really nice back in September but I keep hearing about some sort of heat wave. What is it supposed to be like in August? It is a nice 70 degrees here with a 7 mph breeze but the humidity is 60%. Thank God for AC! Next week it is supposedly going to be 87 which is a bit too much for me.

Unfortunately I am unable to go. However seeing as I'm in Dallas, driving down for a night then back to work in the morning is not out of the question if it means meeting you fine people. Are there any post 6pm get togethers (*cough* bars) that anyone knows of?
