I've just noticed that Darin.K has fired over the 2000 post mark becoming a Trusted Enthusiast.
I am often in awe of some of the things Darin.K has posted - he is one those forum members where it is always worth taking the time to hunt down and read through his posts.
Many thanks, and keep it up Darin.
Cheers

I should not be suprised Darin has climbed so far so fast ...
SO I was prowling the forums when I noticed some unknown joining in the fun and thinking that he could top all of the previous Nuggeteers by posting DAILY Nuggets!
I thought "Many have stepped on that road before him only to run out of good stuff after a month or two and this new guy thinks he can do Daily Nuggets?"
Those of you have played along already know that Darin actually pulled it off!
Now also being a curoius animal I wanted to find out who this presumptous poster could be. Well .....without taking into concideration that he may be one of our most experienced wire-workers.
Darin, please acept my thanks for the humility you have exibited while leading those that have taken up the LV path behind you!
Your brother in wire,
Ben

Darin,
Congatulations! Your contributions have left me impressed and often amazed. Certainly I have picked up a trick or two (OK, who's counting?) from your posts over the last 25 MONTHS! I could point out some the the amazing metrics especially in K/P on the LabVIEW and Exchange boards and S/P on the LabVIEW board. Your depth of knowledge of the LabVIEW IDE and willingness to share that hard earned knowledge with a side of humor is truley inspiring.
Look out Dennis! Darin K. may catch your post count before you know it!

Way to go Darin.K! Thanks for the posts.
Jeremy Clarkson called, he wants the Stig back.

Darin has always been a Trusted Enthusiast in my book. I'm sure he's already shining his armor plates. 😉
Thanks for keeping me in line with my quick posts. And for finding Rubes in the code.
You must be related to Dennis somehwere (past life maybe? clone? mini-Deni?)
I keep learning a lot at this (and LAVA) forum.
Cheers!

Seems just yesterday since someone else passed the 2k mark. 😄
Two Four years later, Summer 2007 2009 was an interesting time for the LabVIEW forum, because two totally unkown newbies showed up started contributing significantly (Jack Dunaway, Darin.K) and the forum was never the same.
It took one post each for me to think:
"Who are these guys and where have they been!"
These were not run-of-the-mill newbie posts with ambiguous questions, but brilliant answers and solutions with a quality so many standard deviations above the bulk traffic that I (and probably all other veterans) immediately noticed.
Darin.K is the puzzle solver, implementing exotic algorithms, regular expressions and somehow seamlessly bridging the gap between LabVIEW and unrelated foreign code (math input, etc.), magically fitting puzzle pieces together as if the entire software community was just one happy family.
Congratulations Darin. I am sure I will keep learning from your posts!
(EDIT: corrected some mistakes in the timeline....)

This must be some kind of joke. There is no way that Darin is just reaching the 2K mark. If someone had asked me and I hadn't checked, I'd swear he would have surpassed that mark a long time ago.
It just shows what kind of quality posts Darin has submitted over these years. It wasn't just a bunch of good posts helping others solve basic problems. But really high quality posts to push the limits of LabVIEW and really start thinking about things in a different way.
Thanks for taking the time to do such high quality work. I really appreciate reading your posts. Congratulations on reaching this milestone.
