Nice thing is that the code is open, so everybody can inspect it.

...so fix it?  Also it probably isn't broken.

How do people like that even survive on a day-to-day basis.

I can be as cantankerous and argumentative as the rest (more than most according to anyone who's ever met me Smiley Embarassed) but this guy is off the chart, in a bad way.

Threatining to come around to people's houses because of an unvalidated software bug is just ever so slightly against general netiquette.  Slightly.  Just a bit.  He must be great firends with Bill Gates already!

Partly sad a person thinks this way, but the first post is certinally funny to read. Kinda watching to see if he'll continue to post.

I am pretty sure his current problems have nothing to do with LabVIEW, that's just an outlet for now. Could be a trivial as lack of sleep or deadlines, to something more serious such as job security, substance abuse or mental issues. None of us are trained to deal with any of that so we should distill it down to the LabVIEW problem.

Such rare outbursts remind us that the forum is actually extremely well behaved most of the time, and that it could be much worse.

There are also be cultural differences. Sometimes these are stereotypes, such as the prototypical rude french waiter. Isn't there a simpson episode where these two russians seem to go into a very heated argument in their language, but according to the english subtitles they are just exchanging pleasantries.

Based on recent experience with cutomers on the other side of the pond, I would go with this one.  We were helping them debug and they just kept saying "We are correct, you are wrong".  We never placed blame.  We just asked them to verify what they were putting out to make sure our system behaved correctly (ie give me a test vector to make sure my stuff worked).  In the end, we found they wired it up wrong.  Well over a month lost in schedule and who knows how many man-hours plus travel expenses down the drain simply due to a possible bruised ego.

I believe there was a scene where bart was talking to someone and they seemed aggressive with their mannerisms but were telling him nicely something he wanted to know in Russian.  Bart ran off scared and the punch line was something like the Russian saying "Hey he went the wrong way".  But google fails me and I can't find it.  I did however find a similar joke in Robot Chicken when referencing the cantina scene in Star Wars.

I always am greatly amused be these kinds of posters and it brings a smile to my face when I see them skillfully trolled, eleciting ever greater outbursts and butt-hurt.. Again, you fellows respond with great equanimity and tact.

That's their secret...few are trolls.  But I do try to keep this in mind and try not to get too hot headed over it.  Just try to steer them into the right direction, while pointing out they are doing this wrong (posting or coding).
