Get well soon Rolf

Apparently Rolf has undergone major surgery recently and is recovering at the moment.

I'd like to wich him a speedy and complete recovery.  In case anyone doesn't know, he's a real authority on LV, especially the "innards" of the LV environment.

Get well soon,

Shane.

Oh yes!

Rolf is not only a major contributor to the LV cause, but once you figure out what he is saying, he is a real howl to read.

I remember him comment on an issue were the ring controls were coercing to I16 internally he siad "Bad, bad, bad".

And then there was the classic line from the Super Cluster thread from Info-LabVIEW

"Once your physical memory is used up by a single shift register storage, your application is probably going to suck."

Get well soon Rolf!

Being in the hospital having heart surgery didn't stop me from keeping up with the forum.  Someone send Rolf a laptop.

Hope you get better Rolf.  We all need you.

All serious now.

We wish you all the best.

Rolf,

Wishing you health and a speedy recovery!  Hope you're doing better and that the healing pain are tolerable..

Hopefully the nurses are treating you well.

Yikes!! 😮  What's happening, it seems everyone around me has heart (stroke) surgery these days.

If it's not that, it's bicycle accidents!!!!  😮   We need healthy LV experts....   I wonder how much exercise Ben does these days...  "Any" is already more than I do..

Well, I'm off to Tim Horton for a double-double and a dozen Timbits..  That should keep me going till lunch at MacDonalds, for a Super-Sized Meal Deal!

Cheers buddy!  Rest and recover real-soon..

JLV pondered " I wonder how much exercise Ben does these days...  "

Plenty!

I probably walk about a mile or two every day (on the way to and back from the "leper colony". Smiley Surprised  Yep, I am a smoker. )

But then again that brings up a wonderful aspect of these and other forums. Through our postings, our knowledge survives us.

Now where did I leave those lyrics, hmmmm... Oh, here they are!

To dream the impossible dream,
to fight the unbeatable foe,
to bear with unbearable sorrow,
to run where the brave dare not go...

To right the unrightable wrong,
to love pure and chaste from afar,
to try when your arms are too weary
to reach the unreachable star!

This is my quest --
to follow that star
no matter how hopeless,
no matter how far --
To fight for the right
without question or pause,
to be willing to march into hell
for a heavenly cause!

And I know
if I'll only be true
to this glorious quest
that my heart
will be peaceful and calm
when I'm laid to my rest.

And the world will be better for this
that one man, scorned and covered with scars,
still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable stars!
