If you could be any LabVIEW item...

If you could be any LabVIEW item what would you be?

Would you be a tank indicator? Perhaps a string constant?

You might even be the increment VI. Would you be a VISA read? A case structure? Property node?

For instance Master Yoda might decide "Swap words from the Numeric Data Manipulate Pallet am I".

Bob the Builder might be the "Constructor Node" from the .Net pallet.

A spy might be the "wait at rendezvous" vi.

Personally, I think I'd be the reshape array VI, as I like looking at things in different ways.

Because no matter what happens to you in life (good or bad)), you should NEVER forget where you came from.

I work with Enqueue Element At Opposite End.  These are folks that always want their stuff done first.  In this regard, I might be a Preview Queue Element...

There's no such thing as priority when everything is Ultra Super High Priority.

I think my former boss is the Lossy Enqueue since he never remembered anything I ever told him.  "Can you give me status on project X?"  I give him status.  Five minutes later..."Can you give me status on project X?"

"Wait (ms)" because life would be impossible without any rest.

"Call chain" because it is essential for me to know where I come from and to whom I belong.

... because I turn a "cluster" (messy situation) into a collection of items that can be addressed one at a time, in order.
