Are you in Amritsar now or Chennai?

Hello fellas,
Am back to India, finally, for 3 whole months. Was offline lately, and busy with work mainly. Didn't stop wiring even in the train and plane during trip to India, though. 😉
Here I still see Diwali celebrations going on. 2 days back was the "DevDiwali" (Diwali of the Gods - Gods are believed to be celebrating Diwali in Heaven on that fullmoon night).
Good to know that Felix enjoyed the Little India and our tips were helpful. That "salsa type stuff" with papadam is called "Chutney" in India and it is common to find green-red chutnies accompanying papadam outside India, however in India, I never saw this. Papad or Papadam are served either roasted or fried, and at most "masala papad" which are fried papad garnished with chopped onions and herbs.
Just one comment about vegetarian food that you said - yes, when I mentioned about "packed veg food" from Germany, it was mainly referring to different types of Tofu and Seitan and other pre-cooked ready to eat food containing these two - be it some pizza or samosa containing tofu/seitan. Near my residence in Portugal, there is a new cafe "Turkish Doener Kebab and Indian Taste" by a Pakistani guy. And he also offers the "veg doener kebab" which has basically that bread with salad. 😞 (as usual, vegetarians are "forced" to eat "healthy" - aka salad) 😄
Ok, fellas - Mathan, Partha, Muks, Somil, Sahil, Felix and Sir Ben, and everyone else, good to be back among you. Let's get back to work. 😉
