That was a very interesting paper, Ben! I'm even more eager to learn about LVOOP now, after reading this. If only my company could send me on a LVOOP course or something...

Kudos to you Jack for reminding me!

 

Darin's help with the model view matrix made that little navigation window a reality. I can't claim I fully understand it but I know enough to be able to over-ride zooming.

It will still require additional time learning and reading (I have sat throug hthe LVOOP course, my boss teaches it).

 

If I had developed that without LVOOP I would be hadr pressed to re-use much of what went into the application. By using LVOOP I have treasure trove of classes that can be re-used when ever I have a custom 3D app to develop.

 

Go for it!
