Great find!

I guess all that time I spent learning how to fix televisions and VCRs years ago is a little obsolete now.

Then again, it was my interest in electronics that took me to college then eventually into LabVIEW.  Reading LV code is at least a little like reading a schematic.  So maybe it wasn't all wasted time.

Ditto that.

THat was the first thing that got my interest. I looked at a diagram and thought "I can almost read s this!"

As long as LV is still targeting DAQ and process control, a background as an EE (or physics) is called for more often than a background in comp-sci. "Half-splitting" are circuit works in LV just as well as it does with a physical circuit.

Your Google Search to find supporting articles finds stuff you have written.

I guess the inverse question that should be applied is "How long do you have to be around to NOT have to cite references?'

Earlier today I found  wikipeadia entry where a citation was required for the claim. Since I was there and actually saw an touched what required a citation, can i cite myself?

No need to answer.

Just thinking out loud.

I usually cite "myself (private communication)"

Nobody will get this, who am I kidding?

Well,  not all of us are published in peer reviewed journals.  Some are!^^^^
