I'm not sure I quite agree with the phrase- But I've only held such a title for about 2 hours. I'm sure it will grow on me.
Keeper sized, 'bout yeah long Typical features for a Bohrer (He will grow into that chin someday) your average number of toes and fingers....
Look for his forum posts as soon as he can reach a mouse.

Congratulations!
I suspect the title will take on special meaning when you here it from the little one.
Teach them early to play safe mouse. It amazing how fast they can find short-cuts you never knew existed..

The title has grown on me already. I imagine its even better to become a grandfather than scoring a last second winning touchdown in the superbowl. (But I haven't had that experience yet so I can't be 100% sure)
Mom and Baby are both doing wonderful. I am very proud of how my son responded to the situation as it presented. It was a bit dicey at times and we are all grateful for the skill and dedication of the surgical team that abruptly interupted their night's sleep to assist.

Just seeing this now...congratulations, Jeff! There is nothing quite so comforting as holding a sleeping baby. (a litter of sleeping kittens comes close, though) My siblings call me the "Baby Whisperer" because I have a knack for getting their infants to fall asleep on me, regardless of baby agitation level. This has worked from my oldest nephew (now 20) to my youngest niece (now 10 months). There are 11 of them total, so I've been able to keep my hand in more-or-less continuously for quite awhile.
Happiness to you and yours. Many moments of joy are in your future. How fun! Congratulations again!

A whole lot of fun. (but tiring... or perhaps there's a baby whisperer in me too)
I never had much experience with nieces or nephews at an early age (Although when I married the lovely Mrs I inheireted a score or so ranging from "twinkle-in-the-eye" to 40)
Congrats yourself Aunt Diane

You certainly seem to be exhibiting "Baby Whisperer" talents, from the looks of things! You both look pretty happy.
