The Augason Farms web-site shows they only have "Roasted Red Pepper Soup 12-packs" in-stock and warn of a 2-month delay in filling orders.

Re: Toilet paper

If you do run out there are few tips I can offer.

There could be a relationship between the red pepper soup and the toiled paper running out...

In Asia, or at least a the places I've been, all toilets have a water hose next to it. Without going into details, they are very convenient, considering the spices they put in the food. One of those simple and practical ideas. I really don't understand why it's not picking up in the rest of the world.

Man, you've been to the wrong places...

Here in Japan, the toilets often have a built-in mechanically adjustable nozzle, with pressure, direction, (sometimes temperature?) - it's too weird for me, but maybe that's why we're not having critical shortages...

The hoses have added benefits. For instance when you can't find a shower on the airport after walking in KL for a day at 40 DegC.

Ah, that is actually funny! 😄

(of course "up to" is not the right term here ...)

While statistically I should be "okay", but the only statistics I care about is me. LOL

The doctor in China who first sounded the alarm was in his 30s.

We have a 30-year old male hospitalized in NJ. No underlying medical conditions.

My sister probably has it. She was not tested; I suppose she did not fit the criteria.

She worked at Biogen in Boston that is in the news.

My better half called to tell me to top off my gas.

Just got back from doing so

Most of the pumps where occupied. On the other side of the pumps a pickup pulled in with 6 5-gallon cans.

Not sure how a run on gasoline helps but people are funny.

Until this morning, the have been no cases in SW PA or W VA. I did hear of one this morning in Washington PA. We live in "no man's land" about as far as we can get from interstate access but that is close enough for us to take some final actions to prepare for being forced to isolate for a couple of weeks.

We stay stocked up on most things so my objective was to pick-up the things that would make the "Kung Flu Vacation" productive.

And other misc stuff..

Corrugated pipe for drainage

Fittings for the drain pipe

Beer

Donuts

Whiskey

Lowe's parking lot looked like it was Christmas Eve and the check-out lines were backed-up. Most people had paper towels but I did not notice any with toilet paper.

While dropping of the pipe I located a cache of N-95 masks!

Bonus!
