And the furry members of our homes differ in this respect from the young, bipedal ones in what respect? None of my dogs has ever thrown up on my shoulder as I was leaving for a meeting!

You know- you definitely have a point! Although tossing a shirt in the laundry is a little easier than shampooing carpet.

Diarrhea from young bipeds is generally contained to diapers. Not so for the furry quadrupeds!

Story time: Back in the day, my now 13-year-old son was a champion projectile vomiter. He must've been no more than a month or two old at the time, when he let one loose. My wife and I did not know what to clean first- him, the rug, our bed, or poor Jake (our Westie who passed last October), who was still his spry self at that point and had taken the brunt of it. Poor guy's white fur was COVERED in yellow, half-digested formula!

Out favourite little quadruped was given beef offcuts from the Sunday roast last weekend. On Monday came home to a very nasty surprise. Numerous surprises in fact. All dotted randomly about the ground floor of the house. Luckliy our carpet isn't expensive, or in very good condition, so after cleaning up it looked about the same. Poor dog Smiley Indifferent

I'd like to see the people from Fabreze spray the carpet and rub their faces...  Now if that was the commercial, I might (I said MIGHT) buy that product!!  LOL!

Spoiler

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if we went back to advertising the way we did in radio and earlly TV. (BESURETODRINKYOUROVALTINE) One show produced by one sponser. Kind of like podcasts are done today. Smiley Happy

Once I get home having spent most of the day in front of three monitors, I see my son watching TV whilst playing on his tablet (simultaneously). Once he's in bed all VDUs are turned off! I never therefore watch TV. And that's fine by me 🙂

With the exception of my phone perhaps, which I realise I'm using now to write this 🙂

The God Particle (a.k.a. Higgs Boson) has been found by CERN. Now all lets have "Mass" 🙂

And I helped (LabVIEW code to monitor CMS detection fiber core/clad/jacket diameters while being manufactured)!

This is almost the same particle as what Seven-of-Nine referred to as "perfection"..

Star Trek Voyager...
